Now, the problem is that a) I don't do usually do concerts and b) I don't know anyone in this area who wants to go. Possibly Geeky Coworker #2 will want to go; he seemed quite receptive when I forced the music on him.

In other news:

1) My perfume from Jo Malone continues to be AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL. When I have disposable income again, I am *totally* going back for more.

2) My new toothbrush from Sonicare? Made of win!

3) Being semi-laid off is totally groovy as it enables me to give less than two shits about what is happening at work. It is *less* groovy in that way where I need to go find a new job. So the question becomes, do I attempt to go work for WoW or do I go work for AAA. WoW has the benefit of being a place I think I *want* to work but possibly no benefits and lower pay. AAA has excellent benefits, a pension, and a good starting wage.

Choices are hard, man.

Went and applied at AAA today. Feel great shame at the selling out. Am submitting Highly Impressive BS resume to WoW in hopes that they pay roughly $12/hr + benefits. Have lost all claim to standards and am willing to be had cheaply.

Am also listening to Muse v. v. loudly. There is a whole post to be made about why Muse is currently my musical crack of choice (1. 'cause they rock hard, 2. they are both chaotic and really really disciplined, and 3. they make the noise in my head go quiet. Okay, so I guess it's not really *much* of a post.) which has nothing to do with the song about the the arrival of our evil alien overlords/massive government conspiracy or how they occasionally make with the dirtywrong sex music, but mostly what is important is that I can listen to them v. v. loudly and no one gives me the WTF Why Are You Listening to Tearin' Up My Heart At That Volume? So, I am very fond of this. Them. Whatever.

Goddamn, "Recess" is sexy and fucked up. Anyway. And...apparently, I like Showbiz a lot more than I remember. Go team!
