Family has gone mad. Embrace of crackpot "cures" has commenced.
On day 6 without a break from work.
Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope
Dude, seriously? I need distractingbecause otherwise my entire family is going to get an earful from me about the aforementioned crackpot cures.
Distract me, please, I don't care how. Ask me a question, introduce yourselves, leave a rec, ask for a rec, post a picture, whatever. Something. Please.

I find vidding terribly useful as a distraction, but it sounds like you may be working too much for that, so here's a question instead: How did you get into fandom?

I would also have put up a mix, but my mp3s are also on the harddrive. It's all very tragic.
It depends. The first time I consider myself as having gotten into fandom, it was for the New Warriors comic out of Marvel. I was...twelve. And then AOL went all wonky and I had to quit. Then I was at NYU and I did a search on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and got the Slayer Fanfic site. I joined BBETA and Willfic and then in...January of that year, I got back with an actual computer of my own and went into IRC's #willfic where I met

Thanks for answering my question. Buffy seems to have been the second big wave of Internet fandom, after TXF (which is when I came in).
