A vid.

What it means to be Commodore James Norrington.

Hosted by the magnificent [livejournal.com profile] themagdalene, who is kindness itself.

And if that doesn't work then...well.  I shall hand out another url.  But the .wmv is much nicer, despite the mysterious line.  'cause like, Elizabeth's head doesn't look like it has a giant growth on it.

I really liked this. And I feel really ignorant, but what is the name of this song (and the artist)? I have heard it before but I am stupid this morning.

It's just called Hallelujah, by Rufus Wainwright, and it was on the Shrek OST.

I believe it's written by Leonard Cohen, though this was a beautiful cover version. And a wonderful vid

I think you're right -- I meant the cover was by Rufus Wainwright. It's certainly my favorite version.

There are also versions by Jeff Buckley and Bono floating around out there, if you're interested.

But yes, this one in particular is the Rufus Wainwright version which makes me giggle because of the meta.
