It is *such* a great touch for Hiro. And also adorable.

And I want to believe that not-quite!Niki said "our" instead of "her," because you're totally right, it makes everything a lot more interesting in terms of potential character interactions.

And yeah, I read the online comic. It is awesome that she doesn't kill the guy! And I'm glad that he got hurt. Because he deserved it. Also, he deserves a kick in the balls from like, every girl he ever did that to.

Re: Isaac - It's totally the line reading on "I'm going to be a hero" that muddies things up because it's not said with conviction, but it is said with belief. So I'm just...not sure how to take it. Because yes, I think Isaac is awesome for stepping up and being all save-the-world guy. But I don't get the feeling that being a precognitive or saving the world is his *primary* motivator and that makes it all confusing. And interesting! *hearts*

And see, I don't think the line about flying had anything to do with wooing the dame or he would have laughed it off. Nathan's totally a shark and an ass, but see, I think that being the shark and the ass is his default 99% of the time and that other 1% is where I sit up and take notice. Like, he'll lie to other people up to a point (which is usually when he can't...lie believably anymore), but I honestly don't think he lies to *himself*. He knows what he is and he admits what he is and the flying is part of that. He doesn't *like* it and he doesn't want it, but he can't deny that it *happened*, because even when he's telling Peter that Peter tried suicide, he doesn't actually make any attempt to make that lie believable. I have this whole theory about the Petrelli brothers and their ratios of dreamer to jackass and I think the line in this ep about flying speaks to that tiny, tiny part of Nathan that *isn't* a shark. Plus, you know, he went and flew into a burning building to save someone in the comic.
