Someone else who's watching Blood Ties! I liked the pilot a lot more than I expected, and that includes all the lead actors. Young Henry, especially, was not a total teen movie pretty-boy, but actually managed to be catty, dignified, and believably threatening by turns. Huff always said that Henry was lithe, looked younger and was shorter than Vicki, but it was still quite startling to watch the "feeding" scene, which was actually more sensual because of the Madonna and Child connotations.

(They so keep setting up great comebacks without following through, though. I mean, what else should Henry's answer to You don't look a day over 450 be but, "The all-liquid diet does wonders.")
