I have only seen part of that movie, but I <3 that idea so much. On a similar note, I just read Freak Show by James St. James today and it was amazing and you should read it omg.

It's about this glittery little drag queen who is sent to a super christian right wing conservative high school in FLORIDA and decides to make the world a shinier place by running for Homecoming Queen. It's amazing.
