I would just like it to be stated that calling someone papi is pretty much the equivalent of going, "Hey, ladies," in that skeevy way.

I always find it totally weird when newspeople refer to David Ortiz (Red Sox) as "Big Papi." I know it's his nickname and all, but, um... yeah.
