cult of mac?

Just got my tax refund. Boggled at it briefly and then went, WOO ROCK BAND COMPUTER!

y'all, macbook pros are HELLACIOUSLY EXPENSIVE.

*hyperventilates* I can't spend that much on a computer. I can't.

but macbook pros are AWESOME.

...although, is there a reason you need the pro instead of the regular? (she asks from her sweet white macbook.)

It's entirely possible to get a cheap, refurbished Mac that's only a year or so old. You can search here for the model/specs you like the look of, and then hit the Apple store or MacMall and search under "refurbished". You can find great deals that way.

Yay for big returns!

Well, you know a good computer is an investment (more or less), so all I'd say is that if you do? Go ahead and splurge on the best warranty/replacement plan you can get. In for a penny and all that. It'll give you peace of mind that even if you drop a lot of money for the computer, you're not going to have to worry about dropping it again, if, god forbid, something goes wrong.

Seriously, you can!
