1. Look out for that 'Homes and Gardens' cookbook. My Mom got it for me and IT LIES TO YOU about things being good and working. Everything I have baked out of it FAILS in a big way.
2. I have a good meat pie recipe: 1/2 lb ground beef, one onion. sautee together in frying pan until cooked through. add frozen peas (corn, mushrooms, whatever you want). put into deep dish pie shell and cover with second pie shell from the package of two. bake. eat. delicious!
