I call BS. But it is well spun BS.

'cause see, here's the deal:

I might -- MIGHT -- have bought the casting for Aang. Maybe. If I were being super charitable, which has been known to happen.

But when the sum of the response is:

The casting for Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Jesse McCartney or whoever as Zuko
+ Recasting JUST Zuko to be of color
+ Removing the ACTUALFAX chinese calligraphy and replacing it with gibberish
+The leaked casting notes
+ Ignoring MANAA
+ Changing the martial arts
=FAIL.

Also, this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RtGMZv6Rjs) is a beautifully edited video to a really terrible song. But you know, it really is beautifully edited. And also makes me go YAY ATLA YAY.

also, man, I am reading some mediocre katara/zuko fic. MORE GOOD FIC PLZ.

...Well. It's kind of dependent, because all I'm reading is Katara/Zuko. Because it doesn't squick me like some of the other pairings, and 'cause I'm never going to get it in the show, you know? So. If you would like those, I can link them!

I've found, uh, two. That I would recommend without many reservations. And I have been reading nonstop for a week. /o\

Mostly what I'm doing is finding a fic that's okay-good and seeing what that author has favorited. I. It makes me sad that there's not a strong LJ community for it. I'm going to hit up AO3 next. Maybe that will yield some prizes.
