spin's the verb
Having tried and absolutely failed to locate any book (other than by Octavia Butler) mentioned here, I instead picked up Isabel Allende's Zorro. 'Cause well, it's Zorro. I think I am going to go back next week and pick up the same novel in the original spanish, because I need to read more in spanish and I heart Zorro like mad, so...yes.
There is a post for me to make about Don Diego de la Vega, but I suspect it will have to wait.
But I will say this: Zorro is one of the first things I can remember sharing with my dad and we would talk after and play, and he always let me be Zorro and he would be Commandante and thesticks swords we had would make a fierce noise as we dueled (and often stumbled -- we were neither of us very graceful) across the backyard.
