I am still *terribly* confused by the lack of hip hop vids. Because okay, like, there are some fandoms that are just hip hop fandoms. Angel is one of them. BSG is another. I think one could make a *strong* case for Teyla and Ronon, at least, being hip hop type characters (but wait, people rarely do vids for them, so never mind).
Meh. But like, yes. I totally want there to be a challenge or something, so that there are more vids! to music I know! 'Cause that would be awesome.
that's stopping me from busting out arabic rap fanvids is lack of equipment. cause if people think *american* rap is too much, they sure as hell cant handle the maghrebins bustin phat beats in 2 and three languages...
I do not know my genres well enough to know what I have that'd count, but I am in favour of any music vid challenge that exludes "girly emo guitar torch-songs."
