I just finished reading Selling Out, the second book in Justina Robson's Quantum Gravity series and I liked it more than I liked the first one. So, yay!

Now I am trying to decide if I am in the mood for crack, urban fantasy, or Georgian romance fairy tale shenanigans.

holy crap, someone work this into fic: http://www.infopt.demon.co.uk/d'eon.htm Ambiguously gendered transvestite swordsperson ftw! Though now I'm kind of imagining Norrington's reaction and it's filling me with glee.

anyway. Hi you guys. I love you all and I think you are wonderful and I had to stop replying to comments in some of the earlier posts from this week because I kept crying (in the good way, I swear!). And then I drank and my head was floaty for a while and I got lots of hugs and that was nice and today I finished up some legal stuff, bonded with my stepmother and my half-sister, didn't buy a macbook pro or a waterproof casing for my ipod or a set of bose headphones, went to the bank and opened a savings account and deposited a bunch of money into it, learned my taxes have my name spelled wrong on them (oh KARMA, you bitch. I love you), went shopping with my niece where we bonded over shoes and my apparent willingness to take her to eight different stores to find the shoes she wanted, and ate a meal.

icon keywords: bam and dunn sitting in a tree. From some photos of Jackass 2. Missi ([livejournal.com profile] thelionforreal) made it for me and it is fantastically awesome. I love these guys. Seriously. (Irony is that I got into VLB/Jackass *before* bandom, and yet it was a vid of Bam and Dunn to "Sugar, We're Going Down" that tipped me into it).
