it has been a particularly fraught time at DQ and as part of my cunning plan to not punch the world in the face because of it*, I have been listening to Pandora on the musicals station and remembering how much I generally like musicals and I've developed a massive crush on Julie Andrews. This, in turn, has led to a lot of listening to My Fair Lady, Mary Poppins, Camelot, and Sound of Music.

man, My Fair Lady is a tough musical to get through, because I just want to punch Henry Higgins in the face.

it's pretty awesome when A Hymn to Him is followed by "Sister Suffragette" though.

*good lord, people, all I can ask is that when you call customer support at any point, JUST ANSWER THE QUESTIONS THE REP IS ASKING YOU. Not the questions you think the rep is asking you or the information you feel is more pertinent, just answer the question that is being asked. I promise you, you will have a chance to give all the information you want. If I have the following conversation again, it will be too goddamn soon:

me: May I get an email address at which you can be reached?
person: Well, that's the problem...

NO, IT'S NOT THE PROBLEM. I ASKED A QUESTION. IT HAS EITHER AN EMAIL ADDRESS OR "I don't have one" AS THE ANSWER. IT'S CALLED A CLOSED ENDED QUESTION. L2LISTEN.
