[livejournal.com profile] rawumber, I am actually working tonight (and tomorrow and possibly Sunday). :(

Bitching
  • Family has gone mad. Embrace of crackpot "cures" has commenced.

  • On day 6 without a break from work.

  • Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope
Dude, seriously? I need distracting because otherwise my entire family is going to get an earful from me about the aforementioned crackpot cures.

Distract me, please, I don't care how. Ask me a question, introduce yourselves, leave a rec, ask for a rec, post a picture, whatever. Something. Please.

Hi Sheila! Hi Sheila! Hi Sheila!

I think you should write more Grey's fic. Possibly we ALL should write more Grey's fic.

SUGGESTION: When a meteor smashes into a Pleistocene museum, the fury of a partially frozen, 40,000-year-old mammoth is unleashed on Seattle Grace.

    I AM HERE TO HELP.

    3. Image

    4. you might have to change your middle name from 'jebediah' to 'bitches'. no disrespect.

    5. did you invent that teleporter yet? because i can think of better ways to distract you. possibly pervacious. here, leer at these. *smooooochin*cuddle*

Their's all looks more fun, but I just spent half an hour very interestedly reading up on Magnus Hirschfeld and his last partner who vanished sort of - although google links to a Chinese conference that tracked him to Canada.

Um. Alright, that's what I do for fun!

I would suggest leaving several copies of Dianetics around if crackpot cures are wanted for reading, or setting up flower essence baths.

This made me giggle badly for a while. I presume you know of aldaily.com already. Going to del.icio.us and chasing odd tags is often good.

    Or! chocolate!

I love you, and I'm sorry it's all so awful. ):

I find vidding terribly useful as a distraction, but it sounds like you may be working too much for that, so here's a question instead: How did you get into fandom?

What was your favorite TV show in high school?

If you could be famous for something, what would you be famous for?

What's the hobby you have that you never want people to pay you to do?

What's the hobby you wish you had?

What's your favorite food to eat that other people think is disgusting?

    Oh, two better questions.

Why is Dr. "Hot Ass" Torres living in the hospital?

Where would I get a Grey's Anatomy icon?

I've found one can very effectively waste time by going back through [livejournal.com profile] thefourthvine's archives. Or you can waste a few hours at [livejournal.com profile] cesperanza's site, unless you've reread her fic recently.

    Would music recs be appreciated?

I'd send you crackfic to distract you, but it's Sheppard/McKay crackfic. Hey, maybe you'd get all distracted by hating it?

And did I ever tell you that ever since you did that "one day's head start" Norrington/Sparrow art way back in the day, I've had a modern day AU flirting around in the back of my brain? v. evil.

Aww, dude, I adore you and I want to help.

Here's a few questions for you: 1. Do you think Diefenbaker would get along with a werewolf? Would it depend on the particular werewolf's personality, maybe?
    2. How *cute* would George O'Malley look as Norrington's ship surgeon with the little C18 ponytail? Awww!
    3. Okay, that last one was rhetorical. So here's a real question - What does a girl have to do to get your attention?
(A: It involves a feather boa and the theme from 'A Summer Place'.)
3a. Can there ever be enough stories told about Oz?
    3b. How about Gunn? Norrington?

In conclusion: I love you lots and lots and you rock my world. *endless snugs*

Ack, I fly out 6 am Saturday.

I thought you had Fridays off? And for the first time EVER I had a Friday off. POUT. I wanted to try and counter the madness of your family. I don't suppose you can hide in my luggage? Though my family is madness too. I am about to spam muchly on them.

Do you want five questions? I was doing that meme this week.

Sometime this weekend? When it's good for you?

Call me, and I will regale you with stories about the condo board, crazy people, and calling people nazi's, that I can't put into print even under some other name.

I'm so sorry about the crackpot cures. This whole sitation is terrible, and the desperate search for a "cure" only makes it worse....

Cheez-its don't really taste anything like cheese. Yet they are still tasty.

I am being bored to tears by my current book. Why do I try to read fiction written before WWI?

Orlando Bloom's "American accent" in Elizabethtown is so inconsistent that it is distracting.

Yeah, I really have nothing. But I tried. Oh, wait...

Hi! I'm anna. I really like Gunn from A:TS, Firefly, The West Wing, Cristina Yang and Coupling UK. I want to be a h8r when I grow up. Nice to meet you!

Bless me [livejournal.com profile] mimesere for I have sinned.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm not a nice person. Long story short? My ex is dating the crazy. And I can't help but laugh... There's a part of me that thinks they might just make it work. But there's the other part of me that is just hoping they don't manage to reproduce prior to the badness. Because I wouldn't want to feel bad about pointing and laughing when things explode.

Most of all, I'm just happy that this time? I'm not involved. There aren't enough prayers of thanks for that...

Yup. I'm not a good person. Maybe I'm just alright. :-)
