This was going to be a post about Heroes and Studio 60 and Grey's and the comments I had here were brilliant and insightful[1] and stuff. I have deleted them in favor of saying:

OMG I HAVE A NORRINGTON AND HE HAS A LITTLE PISTOL AND A LITTLE HAT AND A LITTLE SWORD AND HE LOOKS SO CRANKY I LOVE HIM.

His little *hat*! I have an action figure of one of my favoritest fictional boyfriends ever and it's adorable and now he can play with Justice Lord Supes and Flash (oh, yes, I also have Justice Lord Flash, Justice Lord J'onn, and Justice Lord GL. I only need Justice Lord Hawkgirl and then my collection of stylishly crazyass fascists will be complete!) and Bats and Wondy and Eomer! Cranky King Eomer with his tousled locks and his manly skirt of manliness and oh, oh, Robust Pirate Anne Bonny. Action Figure Norrington has playmates made of awesome! I am very pleased.

Possibly also over-caffienated.

[1] I am totally lying. My comments mostly went, "WHEE HEROES HI I LOVE YOU!" and "MATTHEW PERRY HOW ARE YOU SO AWESOME?" and "MARRY ME CALLIE/GEORGE/BAILEY/ADDISON/CRISTINA/BURKE/IZZIE/ALEX/FINN/SHONDA!"

ETA: Sweet fancy moses, I love Norrington something *fierce*. Sometimes I forget just how awesome I think he is.

...you mean that isn't insightful and brilliant? 'cause that's pretty much all I'm capable of saying of those shows, ever.

Also, man, I need an Action Figure Norrington, because that sounds most awesome.

Action Figure Norrington is most triumphant indeed.

And, really, all I want from my shows is for them to make me incoherently squeeful and full of joy. This tv season is the first in a while to do it, so yay.

Oh, *Heroes*. I am all a-flail with love.

I just got an action figure Norrington too! \o/ I was like 'oh man, that is SO AWESOME'. He is hanging out with my Rosie the Riveter and my Buffy and my Justice Lords!

Also an Elizabeth in pirate drag. That one more because, with her looking absolutely nothing like Keira Knightley, I can totally pretend she is the novel protagonist, and keep her beside my computer when I write, and that makes me happy.

Is it crazy that I have several Norrington figures, have successfully shaved one, and am now working on making a proper Navy uniform onto another one?

Probably.

One question - does his little hat fit him properly? Mine won't go on completely, Jack's hat fits much better.

His hat fits fine on his head, and truthfully, I am quite charmed by Action Figure Norrington's scruffy. It is adorable and cranky.

I knew they existed, but I didn't think they were coming out until much later! So I was very excited to find them at Target.

Funny combination ;)

(I also used the opportunity to make him look more like himself. And customising action figures is fun! Procrastination in its finest form. Which is why I have a scruffy and an unscruffy version. Jack has all hands full)
