1) My stereo does not work, so either I have to listen to my clock radio to enjoy KROQ of the 90s or I have to stream it off the website. Neither of these things makes me happy.
2) A conversation:
Me: "Hi, Mom."
Mom: "What kind of person are you that you don't come to me and say, 'Why don't we go to the cemetary today?' Everyone else's daughter takes their mother. She had no flowers. Everyone else had flowers. If I did not go, she would have no flowers. You have all forgotten her."
Me: "Bye, Mom."
Mom: "Where are you going? Up to your room? I don't see what your room has that you spend so much time there."
Me: (not out loud, thank god) "...it isn't so much what it *has* as what it doesn't have."
3) I still feel stupid.
All in all, not the shiniest day ever.
