um. So, I hadn't seen Life on the Murder Scene before? And, seriously, okay, if I were ten years younger, MCR would have been *it* for me.

[livejournal.com profile] anonymous_sibyl, you need to watch this if you haven't already. You know how we have similar character things? This is like that. And by "like that" I mean "it is exactly that."

also, I don't think I can make fun of the life saving anymore. Apparently Gerard's complete lack of irony is catching. It's a plague of sincerity.

...I'm a little bit embarrassed.

I am afraid to even look. That being said, this sounds like exactly what I should watch after I take my final on Monday.

YouTube has it?

Probably? I have it on DVD (2 dvds! a live cd!) 'cause it was like, $20 and I figured that was totally worth it (which, btw, IT IS). I know you can torrent it.

Um. And like, okay, I'm not saying Gerard Way is Superman, because hah, that would be crazy. I'm just saying that he's um, A LOT LIKE Superman in that punch to the stomach feeling of YES, THIS IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT, SOMEONE GETS IT and um. Yes.

They *get* it. And they want to help people. *flail*

Man. Life on the Murder Scene is what really just -- after I watched it I just wanted to ruffle their hair and make them vegan cupcakes and make sure their laundry got done and that they took their vitamins so that they could continue to rock the fuck out of every show, and be excellent to all of their fans, including the kids who needed to know that they'd be okay.

I can't help myself. They're all like...*really sincere* about saving lives and being there for their fans and it makes me want to do nice things for them, like making sure they don't let themselves get third degree burns or making sure they consume more than coffee and cigarettes.

I like them really, really a lot.

i have to say, after watching that DVD, my respect for them just kind of exploded. srsly.

...it may have also been responsible for my now-constant need to climb ray toro's thighs like a cat in a tree, but that's neither here nor there...*cough*...

...yeah, you kind of are.

*whispers* I like it when people are sincere about wanting to help others.

Yeah, I liked them a *lot* before watching the dvd and now I am just kind of, "Oh my *god*," about them and triply bummed about not getting to see them on Projekt Revolution.

And oh my god, Ray. He just keeps talking and being hotter and hotter. Like, some people become less attractive the more they talk, but it is not true of MCR. They all become wildly attractive when they open their mouths. Especially Ray and Bob (I um, may have increased my crush on Bob because he is sometimes all crankypants and looks like he wants a nap most of the time and then he's all kind of stoically awesome and wonderful). Frankie was already pretty high up there.

Totally and completely doomed. Sheila really is a bad influence.

But, omg, it is SO awesome.

Don't you love Frank sneaking into Bob's bunk and the two of them giggling?

Also, now do you see the Brian/Gerard OTP?

Oh my god, you take that back! I'm just pointing out to her, you know, that since she and I share similar interests in terms of things that ping for us, that she will probably fall helplessly in love with them and their earnestness for saving lives! I am a good influence!

*sulks*

...it really is Just That Awesome, though.

Frank and Bob are pretty much made of adorableness like puppies!

And I do see it! But you know. Bob moves Gerard's furniture and flexes his manly muscles and Gerard sighs happily and Frankie plays Cupid. How is that not also awesome?

You would deny me the lifesaving that you yourself introduced me to just to spite Sheila? You are twisted, Anna. Twisted! It is so totally obvious you are a hater!

I am doomed, doomed, doomed. I already know he lacks irony and if he's going to be all serious about saving lives and stuff I'm just going to turn into goo on the floor.

No, I think it means that I have to bug you until you are convinced of their love and write me a story. See? Doesn't that make more sense?

You totally are. I spend the week after I saw LOTMS, saying 'Gerard Way Saves Lives!' OUTLOUD and without any irony. Seriously, you will love it like cake.
