so, I uh. fired up wow on the work computer, chose Proudmoore, clicked "create new character" aaaaaaand immediately went, "meep!" and clicked back out because I had no idea what to create.

I will say that I was noodling around with a troll. Uh. Girl. ? I liked them. They were blue.

...the undead were kinda hot, though.

There's two all girl guilds on Bronzebeard called Daughters of the Horde and Daughters of the Alliance. They're pretty cool people. :)

I like pet classes because I can be lazy. Stick a pet on the target, let it build aggro, then kill it while the critter (or lately troll) is distracted. Because the pet is doing the distracting? It gives me more time to cast spells, etc. Not so rushed. Lazy!

I've played the two "easy" classes but I find a hunter easier--that might just be because I learned how to play on a lock and this one I'm leveling after I have a general idea of what I'm doing.

(I had trouble walking without getting stuck in trees when I started.)

The other thing with hunters is you get to accessorize with animals!

And then there's worldofwarcraft, the catch-all non-gender-specific general WoW comm. It has a surprisingly low level of stupid, and most folks are very helpful. (And is plenty girl-friendly; 4 of 9 mods are female, too.)
