3) Superman brings the gay. No, this is actually surprising 'cause I don't think, er, that Superman is all that gay. Except when he's with Bruce. Or J'onn. Then he is pretty darn gay. Or when I am not writing the story that was totally inspired by watching Look! Up in the Sky....

4) Wonder Woman -- when she is not being all awesome with Bruce -- *totally* brings the gay.

6) HAWKGIRL SMASH! = also for the win.

7) My theory of 'shipping on JL is as follows: you have to have a thinker paired with a smasher. Thinker/Thinker just gets bogged down in the angst and Smasher/Smasher gets easily distracted by things to hit. So, say, leaving aside um, chemistry issues, Batman/GL wouldn't work because oy, with the angst, where Bruce/Diana or Bruce/Clark totally works. Ditto GL/Flash. The only exception to this is Hawkgirl/Diana and that is because they can go be all destructive and then have sex and I'm totally down with that.

Superman + Batman: FUGITIVES FROM THE LAW OMG. It takes place after Hush and President Bush Luthor has declared Superman an enemy of the state. And wow, they're...like the best buddy cop show *ever*. And truthfully, I do like the wry, snarky, ironic Batman who comes out to play with the cheerfully direct Superman. They do good things for each other. And ( only a little spoilery )
