if it ain't baroque, don't try to fix it
Jan. 3rd, 2007 07:55 pmI have been reading reviews of various Muse albums and I just have to say to the reviewers: you know, it is possible to like Thom Yorke *and* Matt Bellamy.
Which is to say, yo, I love Muse a whole hell of a lot, but I also love Radiohead, so please to stop bashing on that magnificent weirdo Thom to praise the admittedly awesome Matt Bellamy. Radiohead is doing their (weird electronic) thing, Muse is doing *their* (apocalyptic baroque) thing, and Rufus Wainwright over in the corner is doing his (indie queer) thing. They are my wackily timbre-ed musical beloveds who I can barely tell apart.
porridgebird, you will *love* their music. They are the guys I showed you who did that "Feeling Good" cover.
In other news, I totally love Eyes Open by Snow Patrol. I did not expect to! Go team Snow Patrol!
Anyway. My head hurts and I am going to go to bed now.
