So, having received a few emails about this, I suppose I should explain.

Simple:  this journal has gone friends-only.

Slightly less simple: There are people in fandom I am trying to avoid engaging with.  Also, one of my coworkers is semi-fannish and one of her relatives writes The OC fic and wow, I'm just totally trying to avoid a gay porn/work interaction.  But mostly it's this -- one of the great things about LJ as fannish interactive tool is the ability to tailor one's fan experience to be what one wants/needs it to be and that is what I am attempting to do.  I feel bad, man do I feel bad, about leaving the non-lj people out of this loop, but er, with one exception, I don't know that there *is* anyone out there.

Fic and vids will still be posted publically and once I stop being lazy I will go back and unlock the picture posts but you know, I was totally dumb and didn't label them as anything because I have that weird block about it so it requires actually going through past posts.  argh.

Anyway.  That is all.

Heh. No. I am just an *awful* correspondent. Largely because I write emails and never send them for I am appallingly shy. And then I am forgetful. And then I end up reformatting my harddrive. It's very tragic.

Hi. I’m a newly converted Norrington-worshipper from Italy. The naked truth is that I am insanely obsessed and I'm stalking the poor James him everywhere in the web, but I swear that I’m actually harmless for other human beings.

According to the suggestions I received from people in lj norrington-related communities, your POTC metas are definitely a must for every James-lover, and I would really like to read them, if you don’t mind friending me. Please, please, please. I promise to behave.
By the way, your POTC vids and images are stunning ! I love all the three vids. Halleluja and Consequence Free left me wordless, but I must confess a particularly soft spot for “The Tango”: you really hit a point, there. It’s so sweet and hilarious to see Sparrow and Norrington to dance their courtship to each other through fires, curses, and battles. And perhaps, I should let you know that I’ve put your beautiful image “When trouble came” as a wallpaper on my PC and can't stop to staring at it with starry eyes……

Hi. Erm. Some time ago, I wrote a short novella in the comments for your post about the five bits of SGA fanon you hated. I don't really know you at all, and I, um, might be one of the people you're trying to avoid (I really hope not), but I've recently begun collecting all the SGA meta I've done, and it'd be wonderful if I could access that post and copy what I wrote to my own LJ.

You don't have to friend me or anything. Maybe... just unlock it temporarily? And then I'll comment here as soon as I've copied the parts I need, and you can lock it again.
