why on *earth* are the shots of Norrington as he says "The very best of luck to you both" like a completely different size from the rest of that scene (and the movie!)?

Possibly because norrington was going to be more villainous, and they stuck it in at the last minute? That's a shot in the dark, by the way. I know nothing.

Huh. Are there any others where that's the case? With Norrington in particular? It could be something to set Norrington apart from the others, and distinguish him from everyone else in his motivations, his behaiour, etc.

Or, I mean, it could be they were just stupid about their editing in that moment, but it'd be interesting if it happened elsewhere in the film.
