I am about to do like, ten* tacky** things in a vid and I DON'T CARE LA LA LA.

It is a palate cleanser of easy prettiness in contrast to the omg frustrating nature of the BSG vid o' doom***. Curse you, Maynard, you sick, sick freak! WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST 4/4?

Also, I was going to post about Heroes and What They Mean To Me, but I think it would come out incoherent and flaily and anyway, I rambled on about it to the most adorablest Miss fox1013 and um. I may have cried a little! Maybe! But you can't prove anything!

la la la the only way the palate cleanser vid could be more tacky is if I did it to Evanescence****.

See Sarah McLachlan was made for cliched Mulder/Scully and Angel/Buffy vids. But Summer Glau and Sarah McLachlan would make a wonderfully tacky combination. Or, hey, a Firefly vid to Golddigger. Or a shippy vid to Avril Lavigne's Complicated. I'm full of temptations ideas!

It is more in the nature of satisfying wallow. It's a movie (a movie that was deliberately made to be visually striking and somewhat frenetic), it's a song from the movie's soundtrack, and I am just sort of sitting here going, "it is easy and pretty and a character I love la la la la." So really, it's only a *little* tacky.

And we sort of got it figured out. Like, we've gotten it figured out as much as we're going to until the happy day when Season 2.5 comes out on DVD and we can just replace the footage. It shouldn't look too terrible, anyway.
