...you know, I bet Superman is *totally* like, the honorary employee of the month in many many places. Bosses are like, "Why can't you be more like Big Blue, huh? HUH?" and the workers are like, "Um, he doesn't...work here. Sir. And he totally shut down that one factory for being--" "DID I ASK YOU?" And secretly the workers are like, "Maybe if we send him a letter talking about shady business practices, he will shut this place down!"

Isn't it, though? It does sort of clinch the promotion/raise thing, though, 'cause they usually only give employee of the month to justify promotions.

So shady!

Lemme get this right: if you're disgruntled, vocal, honest about shady ethics and you call Management on it, you get bribed with Employee of the Month and threatened with a raise and promotion. NOW I see where I've been going wrong!

*giggle* I think it has a lot to do with the idea that they *can* offer me something like that and maybe ease the disgruntlement (which hasn't actually happened), which they can't do with the management team (who are all also trying to get out).

This whole situation is such a farce.

I am very amused by the whole thing. It's like a sitcom! Only with boredom and sketchiness instead of a laugh track.

...the only thing I can think of is, "do they have properties in Korea? Can you disgruntle your way to a vacation?"
