Awww, I love him and his fucked up issue-having self! This is largely helped by what appears to be his lack of self-delusions! He knows he is fucked up! He has accepted it! He loves his daughter! And his not-brother! And his not-sister! And his really-not-a-dad! He beans people in the head with soup cans! This makes him *awesome*.

I will not lie, there was a brief, dark time when I blanched at the manpain and found my love wavering. But then he took Connor to a strip club and explained how he understood his own issues and was okay with them and I was like, "Oh! See! I can deal with self-aware manpain!" It should also be noted that this took all of like, an evening.

He is like season 2 Wesley! Only more of a ho. Er, and not British. And, I admit, the whole thing where Roy is not an entirely native speaker of English is totally a turn on.
