ETA: I should say that I really love Fray. A lot. But, frankly, I don't trust Joss to be able to balance the Runaways cast with anything approaching flair. And I *especially* don't trust him to do it with Victor or to handle Nico, Karolina, or Xavin. Chase will be okay.

But between that and the way the Karolina and Xavin have been totally annoying me since they've both been around, I think I've detached from Runaways to the point where I can view Joss's assumption of the writing with curiosity and amusement as opposed to fear. I mean there's only one thing left in this book that I'm all that attached to...

and if he fucks up with Molly, there will be hell toupée. ^_^

Well, yes. They went there. But there are lesbians! and then there are Mystical Lesbians. And Joss is, I'm afraid, one of those people who is like, "oh, the girls touching is wonderful and tender and soft focus!" This is what I took away from BtVS/AtS -- Joss has sexuality issues that makes BKV look sparklingly normal.

When I heard the news, I felt sick. I don't trust Joss as far as I can throw him and it hurts me to think that he'll fuck up Runaways. If he turns Nico into Willow2 or Molly into Dawn2.0, I will have to kill the man.

Those are my biggest fears, honestly, and I *like* Dawn. But Molly isn't Dawn. At least there isn't a waif running around barefoot...OR IS THERE?

Also, I am now mortally afraid Victor will die. People of color do not have a decent track record in Jossian shows! It scares me!
