I actually like the old They Have a Plan sequence better. And I liked the multiple models during There Are Many Copies. Largely this is because Grace Park's skinny skinny body skeeves me.

Awwww. Poor doomed little insurrectionists! I still don't like you Ellen Tigh, but at least your skanktasticness is for a good cause.

Oh, *Kara*. I like her tattoos! And holy shit! Kara done gone crazy! Woo!

And Mary McDonnell gives good Exposition McSpoutypants. Ahahahahaha! The contempt when she said Gaius Baltar was awesome. And I like Cylon Al. And I like short-haired Boomer. Oh, Cylon Al! I heart you! You are competent and scary and practical! And you know, love still doesn't work for me as a thing. whatsit. plot.

Oh Tyrol! Please don't be doomed!

You know, I totally have a deep and abiding love for the Rebellion vs Totalitarian Dickwads story. Fuck some shit up, rebellion! Fuck some shit up hardcore!

Dude! Tigh is like, "CUT HIM! I WILL CUT BALTAR!" And Tigh is also like, "OMG, DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT MY BOO! DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT DADDY ADAMA!" Caprica Kobe, you are kind of a douche.

Creepy as it is, I really do like Kara/Cylon Ray. Apparently, I really do just need Kara with Anyone But Lee and I'm good.

Um, yeah. That is my weird-ass kink. People talk about dark fic and it's all physical torture ad whatnot, but that psychological stuff -- the death of hope, the futility of escape, etc etc -- that is what I find scary as shit and also like fictional crack. Half the stories that I come up with (none of which get written down) are about things like that. Ah well.

Oh, Daddy Adama. The pornstache is hilarious and oh, HLW!Helo -- AHAHAHAHAHAHA FAT LEE! I MOCK YOU! -- you are so hot.

*snorfle* Oh, Fat Lee. I love that Daddy is bitchslapping you like you deserve, you whiny little dickface. AHAHAHAHA. This shouldn't be so glee-inducing, and yet it is making me *ridiculously* happy.

And god, Boomer, why do you suck so hard? You have the *best writing on the show*. I do not believe you! I do not believe a single thing that is coming out of your mouth. Whatever! Do not enable the emo dickery! He will start fucking around with a wooden ship.

...*snickering* Dee, I think I love you again! Please to continue with the contempt for Lee.

Daddy did send a Raptor! (grar!) You are bordering on mullet territory, Daddy Adama. Pornstache I'm okay with, but the mullet needs to go.

Oh, Laura will *fuck up* the police. And wow, Tigh totally wants to cut Baltar.

This music *kicks*.

I KNEW IT WAS YOU GAETA! YOU COULD NOT LOVE BALTAR THAT MUCH! YOU ARE BACK TO BEING HOT NOW THAT YOU ARE NO LONGER A TRAITOR TO YOUR PEOPLE! *HEART*

That was HARDCORE. And also crazy.

Wow, the Dresden Files doesn't look too bad. Go team Sci Fi!

Oh, Roslin. You want to cut Baltar too. The withering disdain is hilarious.

I find myself liking Tigh more and more as time goes on. He's a bitter old coot, but he's not incompetent. I could watch the rebellion all season long, man.

Noes! Callie!

Um, Cylon Al, how did you think that was going to make the insurgency go away?

Oh, hi, hello there *Felix* and *Galen*. Manly rebellious bitter hatesex!

Oh, Tyrol. I love that you have no time for the dickery of Not-PointyFace. You know, that guy from Supernatural.

And now we return to the Kara and Cylon Ray story of fucked up! Oh no, no, shit no. Not the OVARY ANGST! This can go nowhere good.

Lee is jealous because Boomer is the favorite child again! And wow, Daddy has *no time* for Fat Lee. SO AWESOME. I don't even care that it is a stupid plan. Oh, STFU, Lee! You are a useless dickface and I hope you die. Okay, fine, fine. Daddy Adama is for WIN.

Cylon Ray and Kara! And the hybrid baby! You are a crazy prophet, Cylon Ray. And those are some bad, bad extensions on Kara. Wow. Though I am totally finding her way hotter than I usually do, so maybe that is okay.

AHAHAHAHA! Roslin and Tigh for the win! I love you, Tigh! You are so cynical and suicidal! I like it 'cause it's bitter. And oh, see, I like Old/New Caprica Boomer. She is hot and awesome. And there she is with Callie. Awww, Callie and Sharon!

Look, it's the hot black Cylon guy. Cylon Al, you are awesome. OH SHIT. Flunkie Cylon done gone crazy! And Six is back! And wait, did Baltar just grow a pair or lose them?

HLW!Helo, that haircut does nothing for you, boo. But I bet you're happy you have Sharon back. Except for how I trust her about as far as she can fly. She WILL TOTALLY BETRAY YOU HELO! RUN! RUN, BOO, RUN! She is hot, though. The shorter hair works well on her.

Ellen, don't betray Tigh. Please. Oh, you are the worst traitor ever, Ellen. I hope you get syphilis and die.

Awww! Gaeta! Baltar had destroyed your ideals! And now he feels bad. WTF-ever.

Oooh, good music again. Awww! Gaeta! Okay, see, the kidlet takes away some of the awesome of Kara and Cylon Ray. I find myself oddly charmed by Roslin and Zarek now. And I like him pulling her back.

Well played, Moore and Eick. Well played, indeed.

Starbuck/Ray the Cylon = my favorite ship ever, but I wish that kid would die.

And, you know, I think the moment I realized BSG was going to be an extraordinary show was the episode Zarek was introduced. I love how they use him in the show, and I too loved his little moment with Roslin.

I love Battlestar!Sharon when she is talking to Daddy Adama. Grace Park rises to meet Edward James Olmos' level. Unfortunately, the guy playing Helo is not that good and does not similarly inspire her.

I actually liked Ellen for the first time ever! And I like that she is making completely the wrong choice for relatively good reasons.

No, bless him, Tahmoh Penikett is just not as good an actor as everyone else. But he's very pretty!

And I did like Ellen, very much.

Yes to everything you said.

What gets me on the Dresden previews is that Harry has absolutely no dialogue in it at all. It's *so* bizarre. Main character never says a line in the preview? Um, why?

So, are the Dresden books *good*? I have not read them at all.

I think they're fantastic. I've read Dead Beat probably six or seven times now. Noirish detective novels with ghost and goblins and things that go bump in the night. I really like the character of Dresden - and I think he fits most of your character pluses. The bad guys in the series have this sort of running harassment about how Harry's going to die "doing the right thing." Good to his word, honorable and doesn't take the easy out. They remind me of what the Anita Blake books could have been if it weren't for the Mary-Sue issues and the pr0npr0npr0n. Worth snagging from the library to see if they work for you. I actually recommend getting the first two together because the first is a bit... not so much slow, but doesn't really get fantastic til the end and the end flows pretty much right into the second book. Both of them together really give you a good sense of the series.

I've decided to approach BSG the way I approach 90% of what I watch, which is pretty much just with the "whee!" and the "Yay! blow stuff up!"

I fail at being fannish about BSG. It is very sad.

See, I think that's a refreshing attitude, given how gloomy the show is. You are effervescent and cool, like a sorbet between entrees!

The funny thing about watching BSG is that I know, intellectually, that it is grim and gloomy and whatnot, but in my gut, where I am supposed to *feel* it, I am mostly like, "Hee! I like rebellions! Solidarity, brothers and sisters!" and then it becomes um, slightly less grim in my head, because I'm so delighted by the situation.

I have weird reactions to media in general. The things people say are dark or scary are almost never so for me. Hi, I'm feeling chatty today, can you tell?

See, I am secretly of Roslin/Zarek thoughts. Probably because I am running on the surreality of fat!Lee.

Wow is he fat. It's very distracting.
