...and fall out, in the case of my hair.

*sigh*

I have, tentatively, read both Young Justice and The New Titans. I have, not so tentatively, decided they are not for me. Never let it be said that I judge things without at least giving them a try. Nightwing *is* Lee Adama. Which, I suppose, makes Roy Starbuck.

Tomorrow is Monday, which means the Complete and Total Awesome that is Heroes and also the awesome that is Matthew Perry. That makes me happy in an uncomplicated way. Also, boy shorts. And iced tea. And Superman. And Nextwave.

That's fair. But at least now you can understand the appeal of Cassie and Kon, yes? Before they, um. Sucked.

Also, please back me up in my opinion that Anita is pure win. No one seems to remember her, and she is so cute! The current Titans would be infinitely better if she were still around to have sex with Cassie.

You know, I really wish they gave people the ability to edit comments. Rargh.

Cassie and Kon are adorable! I do love that Cassie is carrying on the Wonder tradition of ambassadorial awesome.

Anita is made of win!

And isn't Cassie being all gay over in and with Supergirl?

Also, having now read like, nine billion issues of godawful art and dialogue, I can say with some degree of certainty that the Wonder of my heart is Donna Troy. She is all pretty! And likes hugs and punching people.

Did you want Birds of Prey? Or Nextwave! I have decided I will be a Nextwave pimp, for it is surreally awesome. Or Runaways!

YES! So much yes to all of this.

I have some BoP, but I will happily take the rest of it, because otherwise I will have to buy trades, and that will no doubt clean me out very quickly.

Weirdly, Donna is the member of the Wonder family I know little to nothing about -- I saw her briefly in The Death and Return of Donna Troy, but thus far I've seen the very beginning and the very end of Wonder Woman and nothing in between. Obviously I'm going to have ot read more of her. The mythology can be kidn of boring (although, seriously, Sean Bean would be the perfect Ares, and picturing that makes the mythology bits much more bearable), but every woman of the Wonder family is made of win.

And Cissie! See, yeah, YJ itself I can take or leave, but the female characters, I adore (except Secret, who is kind of boring). Also Kon. And where do you fall on the question of Cissie being Ollie's daughter?

But yes. Now you have at least seen that Kon and Cassie once had personalities, before Geoff Johns got hold of them. And yes! Cassie is totally gay for Kara. Kara would be far more interesting if she got a writer with a long-term plan for her, but they do what they can, and she is so gay for Cassie, it's mind-boggling. Tomorrow, when I'm not drunk, I'll ahve to scan some pages for you.

Donna is...I must admit that the Death and Return of Donna Troy is what made me love her, but she's good in "Graduation Day" (which, er, if you have not read it, I can upload) and I have the five part "Who Is Donna Troy?" storyline.

BoP you can get here: http://www.exp626.net/bop/

Nextwave and Checkmate's first issues here: http://www.exp626.net/comicses/

re: Cissie being Ollie's daughter -- On the one hand, he's totally a manwhore so it is possible and I remember reading one of his Secret Files and Origins that said it was a strong, strong possibility. But I dunno. If she is, though, Connor and Mia and Roy are all going to be cranky and like, "OMG, can't you keep your pants *on*?!?" which could be entertaining.
