Should I start saving for CCI 2007?

Yes, I think that I should. Freaking hotel rooms.

ETA: $79/night, comic con weekend. 20 miles away. On the one hand, $79/night. On the other, 20 miles away. Oh, hey, $129/night, 10 miles away.

ETA2: Wow, Best Western's website is *for crap*. Or else I have been horribly spoiled by The Evil Company For Which I Work.

Definitely. This year we were all the way the hell out in the boondocks. I have no problem with putting five people in a room if it means we won't be so damned far away. It was hell for me getting back and forth to work the floor.

I am trying to find one of the Marriott downtown hotels, but the cheapest I've found is the one at $129/night about 10 miles away. But it's also on the red line. So I dunno.
