I still think that "Blaze of Glory" was an inspired musical choice for vidding LotR. It's not such a great vid, but I am absurdly pleased with the song choice.
It *is* the Rohirrim. They are worth a watch or twelve.
I'm utterly tickled by the fact that Eomer takes out three oliphaunts with one spear in like, five seconds and then is like, "I *own*." Because he does.
It *is* a great vid. Some weeks ago I was browsing my LotR folder and stumbled again upon it and it brought me great glee to re-watch. I wanted to comment on just how much it rocks, but thought it would be weird to comment out of the blue like this. Now I'm sort of sorry I didn't. ;)
Heee. I do not deny that it is a *happy* vid, full of fierce joy and ass kicking. But really, it does not tell us anything we didn't already know about the Rohirrim. It's just, you know, 5:00+ minutes of gleeful asskicking.
