Er. Really more in the way of music stuff. Like recommendations!

Food and Liquor - Lupe Fiasco. SERIOUSLY. People have said that they haven't gotten into hip-hop because they do not know what to get. So...get this.

The Sufferer and the Witness - Rise Against. This is not hip hop. This is...rockin'. It gets labeled punk but that doesn't seem entirely right. Whatever. It is much with the awesome. I heard them do a few songs acoustic and those were fantastic (um, dude, if anyone has "Ready to Fall" acoustic and could send it my way? I will love you forever). Good, good stuff.

Probably more music later. My shows are on hiatus and so that pushes me toward music pretty hardcore.

I sort of feel like putting up the My Chem cover of "All I Want for Christmas Is You". 'Cause...funny! Or FOB's "Hand of God." Or Timbaland (!!!) and FOB's "One and Only". Sex! in musical form! With swearing by my girlfriend! Maybe some Gnarls Barkley. I dunno. I want to share happy things. Maybe the 50 Cent remixes of CMAR. Those are awesome and also hilarious in a creepy angry stalker kind of way.

Okay, how about this: if there is music and you think I might have it (or you know I have it 'cause I upload like a demon sometimes), ask and I'll see what I can do. I admit right up front that I am not the biggest hip hop person in the world, but I have *some* and it tends to be the more accessible stuff. And god knows, I'm not into a lot of the indie rock stuff, but...I have a fair amount of music and I like to share. Also, I have a fuckload of Radiohead.

Oh oh um, does anyone have the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack who would be willing to share that? Because I've bought that fucker *twice* now and lost it both times and I'm not really in the mood to buy it a third time.

man, I totally need a music icon.

I've been meaning to buy Lupe Fiasco because I've really liked the tracks I've heard. Despite the fact that I am so very white, people immediately start laughing whenever I mention hip-hop. Oh, well.

I sort of feel like putting up the My Chem cover of "All I Want for Christmas Is You". 'Cause...funny! Or FOB's "Hand of God."

Both of those would be FANTASTIC, since I do not have them. I may be a little biased, though.

*g* You have "Let's Get It On," right? And "So Sick"? Oh, oh, and the FOB cover of "What's This?"

er. and the Kanye West remix of "This Ain't a Scene." And "It's Hard to Say 'I Do,' When I Don't"?

Basically the b-sides and bonus tracks off like, the Black Clouds and Undergods edition of Cork Tree and some of the other stuff?

I know, I know. And it's one of those songs, so difficult to grasp that you need to listen a few times or more. You know those critics. ;)

And non-album MCR, FOB or the rest of that bunch o' bands (it's all [livejournal.com profile] femmequixotic's fault, picspamming and pointing to other picspams.

Also cover versions of anything by anyone!

PS Did I ever say Oh Wow! at Jesus Walks/Gunn vid? It was one of the hits of [livejournal.com profile] connotations last year and I revisit it every so often and just *loves*. Thanks for making it.
