I am trying to convince myself that I don't actually need to buy a new stereo for my car so I can play my (still nameless! woe!) iPod really, really loudly while driving around.

So far, it is not working, because the FM transmitter really...it is wonderful and all, but it does not play *loudly* and I look damn silly rocking out in my car to something that's at like, half volume. Also, we have radio stations on every freaking frequency and that makes things difficult.

Sometimes I feel like posting my playlists of AU crackery. The one with the only-a-little-bit-sinister-dystopia-omg is awesome and contains such things as "Diamond Dogs" as covered by Beck and Rage Against the Machine's cover of "The Ghost of Tom Joad." Strangely, it is not made up *entirely* of covers.

Though, if one were so inclined, pretty much the entire discography of Me First and the Gimme Gimmes would make an *awesome* bandslash soundtrack.

And I continue to fail to talk myself out of buying a new stereo. *sigh*

Hee. The car I drive (1994 Nissan Sentra) now has a 200$ CD/MP3/AM FM radio in it, since the old one died and I must have music. So I'm really of no help on this one.
