MY BOY STEPPED UP. HE DID HE DID HE DID. OH NATHAN I LOVE YOU.
I love *everyone*, from Hiro and Ando and the meaning of courage and telling stories to Claire's refusal to accept destiny to Mr. Bennet having Peter's back to Daddy Deveaux being in on everything to the Family Sanders/Hawkins to Molly to Mohinder to MATT OH MATT YOU ARE MOLLY'S HERO AND I LOVE YOU to *Peter* to Nathan flying him out please be okay Nathan, please.
Oh, show. I knew last July that it was going to make me insanely happy, but I didn't expect it to make me THIS happy. Oh show. Oh, show.
Yay! Isn't it lovely to have a show that is terrifically entertaining *and* promotes the power of goodness and love, without at all being cynical or syrupy?
It is *fabulous* to have a show that does that. It makes me feel all fuzzy inside to know that there's a whole bunch of fictional characters I trust to do the right thing when they need to.
Beginning of the season: Nathan is good Halfway through: LALALALALA Nathan is good Near the end: DON'T FUCK WITH ME NATHAN IS GOOD Finale: YES! YES! Nathan is a heroic shiny good man who loves his brother and pulls it together at the end!
I think the great thing about Nathan's storyline is that the payoff at the end really hit hardest if you believed the whole time that he was a good person and were disappointed in him for not acting like it when he clearly knew better. So when he *did* show up at the end, being the awesomely good person that we all knew he was, it was both "YAY NATHAN!" and also "WOO VALIDATION!"
Just finished getting caught up on Heroes, after a two day marathon. God damn it, Sheila. Like I need one more thing to obsess over. Also, I am crying. Nathan!
