In the rush of awesomeness that is Maynard James Keenan, sometimes I forget that what I love best about Tool is not actually MJK. It's Danny Carey and Justin Chancellor.

Rock on, boys. Ruck the fuck on.

...and yeah, AWE can suck it. I'm not going. All the stuff I said before still holds true. (yes, it is...spoilery. sort of. I wrote that post before DMC, but it holds true for AWE)

Sometimes I'm really thankful that I'm still a teenager, because if I had to pay for AWE I wouldn't see it. I'm about to read [livejournal.com profile] elessil's review, though. I'm scared.

It. Yeah, pretty much I'm still on "AWE can suck it."

I'm so *mad*.

Just finished reading her post. I'll be in the corner punching a wall if anyone needs to unleash my feral rage on something.

It's just. That's such a bitch move, T&T and Gore and Jerry. *Such* a bitch move.

I still get angry every time we're in a store and I spot a Norrington action figure. NOW they give him one. Bah.

He had one for DMC! I totally have it. Because...well. You take what you can get, sometimes.

I was never able to find his figure for DMC and I totally looked everywhere.

I'm really going to have to try and resist the next time I go shopping, then.

*sigh*

I do believe I'll be gardening this weekend.

So today as I was closing down my computer at work, WMP threw up "Stinkfist". As I had my phones closed down, I decided to turn up my computer speakers and rock out. It was mightily satisfying.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is a weekend to catch up on stuff!

And I haven't listened to Tool in *forever*; I had forgotten how spectacularly awesome they are.

Mmm, washing things.

I used to do calculus and physical chemistry calculations (aka 5 page long differential equations) to Tool. Just something about it made the numbers flow better.

Thanks for reposting that.

I'd go see AWE but I already had plans to wash my hair this weekend. Oh, and dust.

Hairwashing and dusting is important! And they should not be put off when there's a weekend with nothing to see!

You know, if you have one of these feather dusters? Dusting is actually fun! I bought one as a wedding present and ended up keeping it for myself. So mad when I broke it during my last move.

I'm really glad I wanted to read reviews and spoilers first before deciding whether to see it or not. Well.... NOT. Emphatically.

In my head, AWE was never made. Doesn't exist. Neither does DMC, come to think of it. Because seriously, WTF? I mean, WHY?

If I need to get out of the house to see a movie, well, then, I guess I'll just go see Hot Fuzz again.

Friends invited me to go see the movie with them and agreed before I knew what would happen to one of my favorite characters ever. So I will see it, but I'm so not keen on it... Afterwards, I'll rewatch POTC and purge AWE from my mind.

Why is it the my favorite characters are so often doomed?? Usually, they die in the 3rd part of trilogies. This holds true for Spiderman 3 and Matrix, as well. Why can opponents never join forces and become friends in these blockbuster movies - or if they become friends, why does the minor character have to die??

I kind of love it that the reviews are ... less than enthused. My personal favorite is the snippet from The Village Voice.
