Dude, if you find one, post the link. Because seriously, it should be a no-brainer, and yet I've been looking for months and... nada. All I've found is one FOB story with an MCR micro-cameo (not even by name! Just "Hey, look at this inside reference!"), and I just don't get how that can be. It's a bit like all those private school stories that aren't out there (or the steampunk AU that six or seven people have dreamed of finding and apparently no one's written). Misuse of resources, tsk tsk. ;)

There's more than a few private school AUs where uh, Frank and Gerard are really supah gay. Which is, you know, practically canon.

But still no dice on steampunk (*seriously*, how is there no steampunk for this fandom? it's practically handed to you on a plate. Two plates! Bless you, Black Parade) or WWII AU (hi, Ghost of You where they are all so, so, so pretty) and there's frankly no excuse for there not to be a WWII AU. So far, Popslash is kicking bandslash's *ass* when it comes to Random AUs Inspired By Moments in Music Videos.

If I could make the stories come out of my head and onto the computer where they belong, I would get right on that.

...sadly, I'm not even kidding. It's crazy and yet the idea of Frankie, Mikey, and girl!Patrick building clockwork people and then everybody sometimes playing surprisingly dirty and scary-to-outsiders games of croquet is just. You know. Happy. In a cracktastical, "Well, why NOT just throw everything in there?" way.

*g* I had actually developed like, characterizations for everyone. And relationships! There was maybe a picture. Frankie wore aviation goggles and girl!Pete was in a corset and petticoats and Mikey was leaning on Gerard and sort of wishing he was over with Frankie and girl!Patrick talking about flying machines and clockwork and how they can get a little more speed out of a steam engine. Ray and girl!Joe smiled hugely and had big fluffy hair. I was very amused.

And I think it's 'cause Mikeway is a girl. He flat irons his hair! And wears girl glasses! And is a girl. Oh mikeyway.
