My friends are awesome (bandom edition)

Seriously, my friends are awesome and write fic that makes me happy. Sometimes, inexplicably, they give me cowriting credit even though I am convinced that these stories are made entirely of their own awesomeness. But in the interest of pimping/shameless self-promotion (choose your own ego adventure) and just in case you guys missed them:

Jane St Clair (3jane) wrote "Leaving You Alone With Me", which is the bestest bedtime story ever. True Love! No sadness whatsoever! Marriage happy lesbians! Patrick and Pete get married and it makes me grin so much because you guys, there's *legal documents*. And Joe! Andy delivers a safe sex lecture involving respect and lube! Also, there is music!

And this second one has been out for a while, but you know. It makes me happy! So I point you guys at it just in case!

Anna's (annavtree) story, "Neither Advice Nor Reason", is Summer of Like and Patrick/Gerard and there is talk of swing drumming and Bob and the Ways are Way-like and Andy delivers a safe sex lecture involving fruity condoms. I was the meanest beta in the world and annavtree has the patience of a saint for not killing me after round three of, "But *why*?"

So yes, you know what other stories people should write? Stories involving Bob. Bob Bob Bob. I need a Bob icon. But I mean, he's so Bob-like! He loves his crazy bandmates! He and Patrick lived together for a summer! He sings terrible songs about how Gerard makes his heart burn!

I need to stop letting the sad tragical stories take root in my head and just write happy comedy fic where people make out a lot. Or I should totally just keep trying to convince other people to write happy stories with lots of making out for me.

T-minus 7 days until the Weekend of Geekery and possibly stalking Gerard Way.

See, I am unsure of if he is going to be there! The day of the Dark Horse panel, he has a concert in Maryville so he might not be there then? I don't know. But I'm totally willing to stalk if he's there.

Um, hi. I WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED if you don't stalk Mr. GWay and maybe ask him for his thoughts on women in refrigerators and tell him that he is awesome with a side of awesomesauce and okay you don't actually have to talk to him but stalking + pictures = two thumbs up.

I am planning to stalk him! But he has to be there for me to do that. And he said he was going to be there in the EW article, but the Dark Horse panel is on a day when he has a concert, so I dunno what's going on with that. But if he is there, oh, there will be much sneakiness with a camera. And possibly incoherent babbling.

I need to write that story too! Maybe that story will be wacky fun and not SERIOUS BUSINESS.

*sigh* Stupid brain. I just want to write romantic comedy and hijinks. But no, my brain is like, "You should totally write serious omg fic."

Also? I have TOTALLY not cuddled you recently.
