I am still crushed at my lack of Butch Walker concert ticket (which I could buy off eBay, except that while I love Butch Walker, I do not love him enough to spend $180 for a ticket whose face value is $15.)

The Kanye West/FOB mashup mixtape is hilarious. I'm not sure if it's good, but it's *hilarious*. I am sometimes unable to separate "I Find It Highly Entertaining Because It Is Funny/Hits My Kinks" from "I Find It Highly Entertaining Because It's Actually Good." I solemnly swear to at least try to let you know when that is the case. Also hilariously awesome? The Hip Hop Loves FOB remix of "This Ain't a Scene It's An Arms Race," where Travis raps and references Sylvia Plath. SYLVIA. PLATH. TRAVIS MCCOY, HOW ARE YOU SO HOT AWESOME?

ETA: You know, I think today is a Snakes on a Plane day. (I have, somehow, managed to talk myself into REALLY LIKING Cobra Starship.)

It's sort of like the audio equivalent of a puppypile of boys beaming like dorks.

And re: your edit, I just have to say that seeing Cobra Starship live changed my mind about them. I was all ambivalent going in, and afterward I was all, "WOO! EMBRACE THE FANGS."

It helps that Ryland is hilarious and VickyT is pretty and that Gabe totally wants to hit it with Patrick SO BAD.

There's this video that ladysorka showed me, where Vicky T, Ryland, and Gabe (I think), are sitting around doing naughty things with teletubby dolls. It is awesomely wonderful. And just, they're so cute! I cannot help but like them.
