-One week until Muse, I am so excited, LA LA LA. ladysorka, are we definitely doing Street Scene on Saturday? 'cause I need to buy my ticket, man. And also 10 days til I can buy tickets for FOB/GCH.

-My tendency toward mawkishly overwrought melodrama has to be curbed by other people, man. Left to my own devices, it's all touching and consumptive death scenes and heroic self-sacrifice and crying. No, I don't know where that comes from either. It betrays my cool and jaded cynical exterior and must be stopped. Possibly with zombies. (I'm kind of a marshmallow, I admit. I totally cry at the end of Titanic. Well, I used to. Now my mean grinchy heart just laughs. No, I still have not read/seen How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I fail at childhood.)

-Patrick Stump = still the best. The. Best. Pretty much at this point he would have to axe murder kittens to cease being The Best. (Patrick/Rihanna you guys. SERIOUSLY.)

-I need to replace my copies of The Princess Bride and Good Omens. hm. Now I need food, though.

I have spent the last year married to the idea that Patrick is The Best. It's been a very rewarding relationship! One fueled by Cool Ranch Doritos, cheesy 80s movies, and an unusual obsession with shoes.

He is a tiny awesomesauce who randomly sings Nat King Cole and plays the Top Gun theme on his guitar and rocks a fedora and gets excited about pranks and likes to punch things and is so geniusy that his best friend can't stop squeeing about him in public! OH MY HEART.

Seriously, like, not even as a crazy tinhat 'shipper or anything, the amazing amount of love Pete has for Patrick and that Patrick has for Pete as best friends just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
