I really like Jack Johnson's music. In that way where listening to it reminds me of sunshine and beaches. He's like the Beach Boys that way.

I need a recommendation for a soothing, tasty tea for bedtime. If my earl grey + lavender weren't caffienated, I would just drink that all day. (Also interesting: earl grey tea is, for me, what tea is *supposed* to taste like. sadaf brand earl grey tea, which we get from the persian supermarket, is what I grew up on and what they serve at every persian restaurant I've ever been to. Anyway!) - So, yeah. Any recommendations for a widely available non-caffienated tea that tastes good would be very welcome.

Dom's drumming on "Knights of Cydonia" is phenomenal. It's phenomenal in general, but there are some fantastic fills in KoC particularly. Andy Hurley? Also pretty awesome with the sticks.

I'm a big fan of rooibos, an African herb that has no caffeine, and no tannins. Very kind to the stomach. On its own, it has a pleasant woody taste, and with milk it takes on a mellow saffron-like flavor. Very soothing and yummy.

It's easy to find fair trade rooibos at places like Trader Joe's or other places that sell natural foods and/or have large tea selections.

There's a great Red Chai Masala from Organic India---it's made with rooibos and tulsi (holy basil---an herb that helps your body adapt to stress), and it's the first tea I've ever had that actually made me feel good. Not expensive, but you may need to hit a healthfood store to find it. With a bit of milk and honey, it's better than dessert :)

Twinning's Lady Grey tea comes in decaffinated, and it's delicious. :)

World Market does carry it. I'm sure there's at least one near you. :)

The nearest one I can think of is in Costa Mesa. I picked up some chamomile/spearmint, so I'll groove on that for a couple weeks and then hit World Market for the Lady Grey :)
