Hah. Successfully created a character after the following conversation with my coworkers:

me: "okay, so what do I make?"
boy1: "what do you want to do?"
me: "um."
boy1: "what are you good at?"
me: "...um."
boy1: "okay, if you could choose between protecting people, healing people, or punching them in the face, what would you choose?"
me: "oh! that's easy! punching them in the face!"
boy1: "okay, so a rogue."
me: "okay!"
boy2: "it's not so much punching in the face as it is punching them in the back of the head and killing them while they're down."
me: "but there's definitely punching, right?"
boy2: "...yes."
me: "awesome!"
boy2: "so, now what race do you want?"
me: "there's one with raptors right?"
boy1: "yes."
me: "do they eat people's faces?"
boy2: "you ride them."
me: "but they are raptors."
boy1: "yes."
me: "sign me up!"

(I have a troll hunter that has a raptor as a *pet*. it's totally awesome. ...said raptor is named straybanana. don't ask. or, you know, ask, if you want.)

(I also have a night elf rogue. rogues are /awesome/. you get to sneak around, and stab people in the face, or stab them in the back, depending on how you play. and there's poisons!)
