Dookie - 1994 - 57 mb (right click save)
Green Day's first really huge album.

"basketcase"

American Idiot - 2004 - 96.6 mb (right click save)
The concept album. Also the album which caused Brandon Flowers to call Green Day unamerican. HAHAHA. I will always kind of love that there are two 9 minute+ songs on this album.

"american idiot"

Foxboro Hot Tubs - Stop Drop and Roll - 2007 - 18.9 mb (right click save)
The side project. Green Day as garage band.

They don't have a video out yet for anything on this, so here, have another Green Day video.

It's an awesome line. I like the whole part about, "home is where the heart is / but what shame / 'cause everyone's heart doesn't beat the same / it's beating out of time."

I am just ridiculously fond of that song and that album.

True confession time: I'd never heard Basketcase before I bought the Weird Al album with the Alternapolka on it. It was the last song in the medley and I entirely thought for several years that Weird Al had written those lyrics to cap off the song and make fun of alternative rockers.

*hangs head*

(I also ended up knowing words to many alternative songs without having any clue what they sounded like unpolkaized this way).

*g* that's kind of awesome.

I love Green Day really a lot. They're one of the bands that were just everywhere during high school and so a lot of things that I think on fondly are soundtracked by them.
