I don't know, dude! I showed up about 30 minutes before the doors opened (which I *think* was an hour before the show started, although possibly less?), but I joined people in line who'd been there longer both times.
Okay, I was just surfing around Buzznet looking for Brody pictures to icon, and what do I start pulling up after a few pages? Baby Frank Iero.
I mean, COME ON, people, I know they're both pretty punk rock tattooed guitarists with lip rings who dye their hair and... I think both went to Catholic school and have had anger management issues OH MY GOD AHAHAHAHAHAHA.
It probably depends on the town/venue, but we didn't show up that early. Like I think the doors had already opened when we got into line and we were in a really decent spot most of the time (I say most of the time because we were shifted around a lot by douches crowding in front of us and us not standing our ground).
On the other hand, there were people at the very front who had camped out outside the venue. But I think others probably had just worked their way up to the front.
Also the crowd was always changing because people would come and go in between opening bands. So there were always opportunities to advance when people went to buy merch/meet We Three Kings.
Okay, so I was a little fascinated by it all and though about all this a lot. I'd never been to this sort of show before.
