not awesome = coughing like an 18th century consumptive.

I had a run of... oh, five or six years, where I spent most of the winter months doing that. The "Jesus, are you dying?" cough. I used to try to break it up into a bunch of little coughs when I was in class, but a friend told me that was just as obnoxious, so I let a chest-rattler rip and everyone turned around and stared in horror. *sigh*

I kept having to put myself on mute because it was *so bad*. I mean, it's been pretty much a constant cough for two years, but today it was pretty spectacular.

Ugh, having a cough when doing stuff on phones is your job? Even worse! When I worked an office job, it seemed like coughs would wait for me to pick up the phone before attacking and making my eyes water and my throat close up as I tried to get out the initial schpiel I had to answer with.

I mostly got through the opening fine, but man, when there was a long block of stuff I had to say, I could feel the phlegm attacking and my voice would start to cut out and I sounded like I was crying or something. It was awful. And yet, kind of entertaining!

Heehee. Yeah. I was always kind of... not morbidly, but a word like morbidly entertained trying to see if I could get through a phone call without coughing as I sounded more and more weird and choppy.

I was doing that all day today :) I made it through most of the time, but like, one in every 10 calls or so I had to stop in the middle and mute so I wouldn't be horribly rude. They always thought I hung up, too.

*laughs* People would get so confused when I would just have to be like "I'm sorry, can you *coughchoke* hold for just a *choke* moment?"

I'm sure I will. I think it's just the weirdness in the weather exacerbating my chronic cough.

You know, 18th century consumptives went to the doctor.

Just observing.

I thought they just died tragically as a lesson to people who would defy virtue.

...But you're not allowed to do that.

NOT. ALLOWED.

(Sheeeeeeeeeila, I'm in the library all the time, and that means I can never talk to you, and I do not LIKE this game because it is STUPID. *clings*)

P.S. I love you.

P.P.S. DOCTOR.

Why does Sheila hate us and want us to be sad when she dies from complications from easily-treatable illnesses?

I'm not really sure. But I know that if she liked us as much as we like her, she would go to the doctor so that we wouldn't have to be sad. It's like she wants us to be sad.

Awww! Yeah, it's unpleasant. I don't actually have tuberculosis, though! So, that's good.
