So, I am trying to buy ridiculous amounts of WoW related crap (+40 Frost Resistance hoodie, For the Horde hoodie, Camp Taurajo shirt, etc) because obv. we get a discount on it at jinx except I cannot make our discount code work which is VERY ANNOYING.

On the other hand, ZOMG IN A WEEK I WILL HAVE A thelionforreal and a ladysorka and a missmollyetc and a BOB AND A RAY AND A WAY BROTHERS AND A FRANK AND A POINTYHEADED MATT CORTEZ AND THAT OTHER DUDE THAT FANDOM PITCHED A BITCH FIT ABOUT and oh oh I can make fun of Paramore fans and there will be Suburban Legends and ALKALINE TRIO, and JIMMY EAT WORLD and Charlotte Sometimes and Reel Big Fish and wooooooo. I'm a little excited!

Oooh, oooh, also? **** and HAARP come out! I am REALLY RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED ABOUT THAT YOU GUYS.

or, you know, I could just be really excitable in general.

(and on a slightly less WOOOOO note, I would just like it to be stated that calling someone papi is pretty much the equivalent of going, "Hey, ladies," in that skeevy way. Avoid! Gabe Saporta = MADE OF WIN! Gabe Saporta != MADE OF SLEAZE. He just wants to make you dance tonight!)

Okay, you are the FIRST PERSON besides my friend's adorable sixteen year old son to ever mention Alkaline Trio (it was the aforementioned 16 year old who first got me to listen to them) and I am excited by that!

DUDE, Alkaline Trio are *awesome*. One day I might do a pimping post for them, 'cause seriously, I love them an insane amount.

(there's actually also an adorable clip of Fall Out Boy where they introduce a video for Alkaline Trio and fanboy them like big dorks. I admit, it made my love for FOB grow that much more.)

I always find it totally weird when newspeople refer to David Ortiz (Red Sox) as "Big Papi." I know it's his nickname and all, but, um... yeah.

*snork* I. Every time I come across it in fic, I have to stop and kind of snicker to myself because the mental image is of total lame cheesiness and not of...suave motherfuckerness like I think I'm supposed to be getting.
