Based entirely on my personality (so if you've met me before,block what I really look like out of your mind), hunt down a "played by" (that is, an actor/model/singer/whatever) who you think would best represent me. Reply here with the picture or link.

The Hypothetical AU Meme: Take any one of the fandoms you know I write AND give me another time period (Ancient Rome, Regency England,etc.) OR give me a type of AU (space opera AU, pirate AU, superhero AU,etc.). I will then explain what story from that fandom I would AU in that era.

I think I can do the latter one because it doesn't require writing so much as OTT descriptions of ridiculous stuff that lives in my brain. OTT descriptions of ridiculous stuff I'm good at!

No, screw it, I want bandom superhero AU. As in, full-on DC/Marvel supers (complete with bizarre universe reboots, crazy AU shit like Genosha, and Magical Uberbeings From Beyond The Universe), not the homogenized movie fare.

Ahahaha, wow, that's embarrassing. I hadn't read this post before I posted - cos I am seriously three months behind on Livejournal and tryinnnng to get caught up by just reading recent entries on the journals I actually read instead of staring mutely at my giant friendslist and flapping my hands like a useless thing.

I still have a mental picture of Janeane Garofalo any time I read your posts, though. I suspect that at least some of that is due to the fact that (I NOW realise) you've been using one or more Janeane icons since approximately forever.

Um. I maybe have started plotting out a restrained, Heroes-esque one, but omg I love the superhero crack so I can totally do that.

And heee. I do like the Janeane Garofalo kind of a lot and that is an AWESOME picture. Plus, really, who'd be insulted by being imagined as Janeane Garofalo? Not me!
