Sadly, I do not have themed names for my stuff or else this would not be an issue.

My car's name is Rosencrantz. My iPod's name is Patrick ('cause it's full of my favorite songs. yes, I'm lame. No, I don't care.)

My computer still lacks a name. I was going to name it Pete to go along with the ipod, but I learned long ago not to name anything after people/characters that have Issues as my stuff will then adopt the issues. (Named a harddrive Thomasina, it caught on fire. Named my computer Septimus and it stopped recognizing peripherals. etc. My life is weird, you guys).

Anyway. I am waiting to be struck with inspiration for my computer. I think it's a girl, at least.

I am all rambly.

Also, it costs less to take a roundtrip train ride to SD than it does to fill up HALF A TANK OF GAS FOR MY CAR. I HATE YOU GWB.

My iPod is named Patrick and my computer is named Pete. I am actually that lame, for reals. And I'm 13, apparently.

(they used to be named John and Rodney though. I'm a fickle girl.)

What kind of Issues would a computer named Pete have? Would it take really random web cam pics and post them to blogspot? :P

Hee hee. I don't tend to change the name of my harddrive/computer often at all, which is part of why it takes so long to name them. 'Cause it has to be the *right* name.

And I dunno. Maybe computer!Pete would go all manic and then sometimes be depressed. I cannot take the chance!

my last computer was named "Gred" and my external HD was "Forge." Yes, I occasionally do geek out just that hard.

...then Gred died and I got this new, nameless computer and Forge is all alone. :( But my iPod is The Breakfast Monkey! (the little one is Patrick. He is tiny and full of music. *G*)

Um...if you're lame I so am too since my iPod is named pstump and my car, when I had one, was named Joshua Steele after my first boycrush from junior high. So yes I raise the flag of lameness high and with no shame!
