I was really looking forward to The Spirit because it has Gabriel Macht and Samuel L Jackson.

After watching the trailer, I'm not so much. God damn you to tell, Frank whores whores whores Miller. Not everything is Sin City. GTFO.

I didn't even know who was in it. I saw the trailers, and, just. OH FRANK MILLER NO.

Amy, it's so bad. It's SO BAD. It's...pretty much Sin City part 2. It looks exactly like it, it sounds exactly like it, at one point it looks like Samuel L Jackson is in a Nazi uniform or something. IDEK.

*flails at you*

If it looks that bad, we can always use that hour for attending the all-important Cinnabon Panel?

What is his deal with, like, Effeminate Black Men as the Root Of All Evil? Fuck you, Frank Miller.

does frank miller control how the movies are done? i know two or three people who hated sin city and said that if miller had had creative control the movie would have been good.

He's writing and directing it, so yes, he has a lot of control over it.

When I heard that Frank whores whores whores Miller* was in charge of that film, I was GUTTED. Let him stick to his own, thoroughly sticky already, work and leave the classics alone.

*and I'm glad we know his full name.

I would rather see a John Ringo movie than a Frank Miller movie. I would feel cleaner at the end.

And yet, Dark Knight Returns is still on my shelves. What HAPPENED? Did he have a stroke or something?
