so I am watching True Blood because....well. Because I like the books, honestly. Things what are awesome about the series:

Sookie = <33333333
Tara = <3333333333
Sam = <333333
Lafayette = <3333333

Things which are less awesome about the series:
Bill (I read the books, you guys, I know Bill is a dick. Plus I have an irrational hate on for Stephen Moyer. PLAY FEWER VAMPIRES, DUDE. Er. Also, I'm not a huge fan of vampires in general. I know, I know. I read lots of stuff with vampires in them, but GODDAMN they are my least favorite supernatural creature.)

TARA! God, I wish she was the lead sometimes. Many times. Not that Anna Paquin isn't good! I just feel like... I don't know, the Bill/Sookie stuff is so over-the-top, but I can tell they want it to be, and the uneven quality of it is weird in that it puts me off yet reels me in... I can't explain it.

Lafayette is awesome. I love them all, really. (I like Jason! But, like I said, I like everybody.) I think Bill is the most annoying, too, and I don't generally have a problem with that character type... I think he's just doesn't pull off the spooky brooding thing well; I think he's cuter when he's more vulnerable and wish they'd play that more.

Man, this show is crack. I wasn't sure about it at first, but now I love it.
