One of my coworkers has a hunter alt named Sthompson. His pet's name is Gonzo.

I laughed and laughed.

There's a whole thread about best names ever on the forums (general discussion), and my favorite from there is a hunter named Schrodinger, with a pet cat.

I has a bag of holding for my laptop now. It is ginormous AND nerdy.

I told my coworker that I wanted to roll a warlock named Tesla (sadly, it is taken), just so I could use deathcoil. I may still try do it, because that makes me snicker a lot.

My druid's name is Andreia (courage) which is not obviously nerdy, but which is one of the four cardinal virtues of the stoic philosophy. I doubt I'll be able to snag Sophia (wisdom) as a name, but I'm pretty sure I can get Dikaiosyne (justice, for a pally) and Sophrosyne (temperance, probably for a priest).

How about Alset? Yes, it's stupid, but they'd never see the counter-clockwise deathcoil coming!
